The About:
Pet Play, AKA Animal roleplay is when you (generally the submissive) plays the part of a non-human animal. This can include really any animal, but is generally either household pets, such as dog/puppy & cat, or Livestock such as cows and horses.
The Gear:
*You dont need gear to be a pet, just the willpower and want*
There is a plethora of gear that is sold to get further into being a pet. Most of this gear is towards the more popular pup play, but there is still plenty of gear available to the other animal roleplays.
For example, at its basics, a pup may wish to wear a tail, hood and collar.
Likewise, a pony player may wish to don a leather or latex rubber pony hood, harness and tack

The How to:
How to get into headspace of being someone’s pet
Generally you just get right down to it, and give over control to your dom, The whole point is to have fun and forget about the stresses of life even for a little while. You can also make this a general part of your life
As example, in Pup play, one would get down on all fours, and start to explore around, maybe you got a toy to play with. Dogs live in the “now” not the past or future. Just play. If you have a dom, go up to them for pets and scritches, or to see what they want you to do next. For Doms, essentially you are treating your sub just like your pet, view them as the pet they are, and treat them that way.
